Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazaki Eskot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eskot shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hill napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hill can't do much from the bottom here.

Eskot wants to control but Hill is keeping him busy.
Hill sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eskot wants to take a breather but Hill is having none of it.

Eskot is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hill is looking to control Eskot's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hill avoid being mounted?

Hill is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Eskot pulls his head out easily.

Eskot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Eskot thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hill's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eskot works his way into side control.
Hill tries to bench press Eskot off him but Eskot keeps the position.
Hill is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Eskot's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

and Eskot counters by moving into the clinch.
Eskot stops a takedown attempt from Hill.
Eskot is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Eskot pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No joy there for Hill, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rocky Hill is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hill throws a right and a left that both miss.

Eskot drives through with a takedown into Hill's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Hill manages to escape and get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Eskot shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Eskot looks winded!

Eskot gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Eskot closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hill did well to prevent Eskot getting side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Rocky Hill will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hill lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hill.
Eskot misses with a head kick.
Eskot ducks right into an uppercut from Hill.
Hill smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Hill looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hill swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Hill tries to keep at a distance but Eskot has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hill is trying to break the clinch but Eskot has him pressed against the cage.

Eskot manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Hill wants to control from the top but Eskot keeps moving.

Hill thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Hill gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Hill is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Eskot.

Eskot closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Eskot fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hill sprawls well initially but Eskot persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Eskot is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hill is trying to stand up here but Eskot is controlling him well.

Hill has his foot on Eskot's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Eskot works his way back into a safe position though.

Hill has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Eskot doesn't defend quickly enough and Hill has managed to lock this one up! Can Eskot escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hill on a fantastic submission victory.
