Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Junior Borg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamahl Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borg comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Borg Out. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borg dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Borg cracks the inside of Jones's front leg.

Borg has taken the fight to the clinch.
Borg is pressed up against the cage. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Borg down to the mat. Borg avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jones shoots and misses
and Borg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Borg throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Jamahl Jones has been cut.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Borg, which made it look bad.
Junior Borg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamahl Jones.
Jones takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Borg has managed to clinch.
Jones goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Borg for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Borg obliges.
Borg has Jones pushed against the cage.
Borg pushes Jones back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Borg comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Borg lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Borg crunches a lovely knee into Jones's ribcage.
Borg lands an elbow just above Jones 's eye.

That has opened up Jamahl Jones's cut even more.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Borg prevents the takedown attempt.
Borg digs a right hand underneath Jones's ribcage. Jones let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Borg's Muay Thai looks sharper than normal. He has obviously been working on it in the gym.

The cut above Jamahl Jones's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Borg lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jones backwards.

Jamahl Jones's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jamahl Jones's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
