Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donald Chartier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chartier's entrance music is Disturbed - Stricken. A fine choice. Thomas Lee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee moves into range and clinches up with Chartier.
Lee prevents Chartier from breaking the clinch.
Chartier is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Chartier's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Chartier is trying to push Lee away but Lee has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Chartier breaks from the clinch.
Lee tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chartier defends well and Lee ends up having to push Chartier into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lee ducks under a wild hook from Chartier.
Lee moves out of range of the body kick from Chartier.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Chartier, which made it look bad.
Donald Chartier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Lee.
Chartier jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chartier but Chartier pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Chartier throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Chartier throws a leg kick but Lee checks it.

Chartier stuffs the takedown.
Chartier is looking to counter punch.
Chartier throws a solid leg kick but Lee takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Chartier.
Lee shoots in and drives through. Chartier sprawls well.
Chartier cracks a nice hook into Lee's ribs.
Chartier throws a hook but Lee avoids it easily.
Lee tries to counter with a clinch but Chartier shakes him off and moves away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chartier defends it nicely.
Chartier lands with a hook. Lee tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Lee shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Lee fails with the takedown.
The crowd cheers as Chartier lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lee doesn't seem phased though.

Lee shoots in looking for a takedown. Chartier tries to sprawl out of it but Lee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chartier manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chartier misses with a low kick.
Chartier lands a jab to the head.
Lee avoids the head kick by Chartier.
Chartier throws a big shot that misses.

Oooooh!!! Chartier has knocked Lee down with a huge combo! Chartier steps away and waves a wobbly Lee back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Lee is rocked!

It looks like Thomas Lee has been cut.
Lee checks a low kick from Chartier.
Lee is still on wobbly legs! Can Chartier finish him?

Lee closes the distance and clinches.
Lee seems to have recovered his senses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lee is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Chartier rolls with it to try and escape but Lee cranks on the arm and Chartier is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
