The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts goes for a double leg but De Souza avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as De Souza continues to drive forward.
Roberts closes the distance and clinches up with De Souza, looking for a takedown. Roberts pushes De Souza against the cage but De Souza circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

De Souza shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Roberts is trying to defend but De Souza finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Roberts has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but De Souza is on him like a limpet, forcing Roberts back against the cage.

Roberts jumps guard but De Souza turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Theo Roberts. That's going to take a lot out of him.
De Souza lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Roberts has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Oh but De Souza is tightening it up a little... Roberts has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Roberts reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Roberts taps out! Nice BJJ there by De Souza!
