Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Lyons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastiaan Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten tries to land a front kick but Lyons steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

enabling Rutten to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Hannibal Lyons has been cut.

Lyons throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rutten.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rutten's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Lyons shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rutten but Rutten pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Rutten counters with a head kick that drops Lyons to the mat! Lyons scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

and Rutten counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Lyons is breathing heavily.

Rutten cracks Lyons with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rutten has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lyons to stand back up!

Rutten throws a chopping leg kick but Lyons manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rutten enables Lyons to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rutten manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Lyons slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Lyons will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And Rutten responds with a good body kick, but Lyons manages to step out the way in time.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oooooh!!! Rutten has knocked Lyons down with a huge combo! Rutten steps away and waves a wobbly Lyons back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oh Lyons is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Rutten counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Lyons out cold! What a finish! Rutten is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
