Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spike Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Ringo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reaper's entrance music is Boom. A fine choice. Spike Reaper has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 21 - 0, fighting out of London, Spike Reaper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruce Ringo!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ringo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Reaper, pushing him back against the cage.

The fighters circling - Reaper throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ringo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reaper shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ringo defends it nicely.

Ringo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Reaper is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ), so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Reaper is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ringo pulls his head out easily.

Ringo gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Ringo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ringo leaves Reaper with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ringo circles away from the clinch attempt
and Ringo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Reaper wants to land a leg kick but Ringo is out of range.
Ringo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Ringo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reaper pinned against the cage. Reaper gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Reaper is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ringo.
Ringo avoids the head kick by Reaper.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ringo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Reaper displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ringo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reaper tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ringo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Ringo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reaper gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Reaper drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ringo dives on top into guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Ringo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Reaper has a closed guard, preventing Ringo from standing up.
Bruce Ringo has got the better of the ground game so far.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Reaper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce Ringo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Ringo is looking to stand up but Reaper isn't so interested in that idea.

Ringo tries to bench press Reaper off him but Reaper keeps the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ringo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Reaper is controlling him well.

Reaper has hold of Ringo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ringo seems comfortable defending it but Reaper has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ringo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ringo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Reaper couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Spike Reaper!
An out of breath Spike Reaper thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
