The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitchcock pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Salazar half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Salazar has managed to clinch.
Salazar prevents a body shot from Hitchcock.
Salazar has hold of one of Hitchcock's legs. Hitchcock is fighting the takedown attempt but Salazar gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Salazar landing with the ground and pound.
Salazar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Salazar wants to control from the top but Hitchcock keeps moving.
Salazar working some strikes from top position.
Hitchcock has momentary wrist control but Salazar slips an elbow through the middle.
Salazar chips away with some ground and pound.
Hitchcock avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Salazar postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hitchcock is rocked!
Salazar stands up over Hitchcock, holding on to his feet. Salazar throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Hitchcock is out cold! Salazar lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Juan Salazar!
