Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oliver Queen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zoldyck Killua!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killua is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Queen stuffs the takedown attempt from Killua. Killua gets slowly back to his feet.
A little feinted left hand from Queen on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Killua misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Queen sizes up Killua with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Killua gets a clinch.
Killua is trying to break the clinch but Queen has him pressed against the cage.
Killua is working for takedown but Queen is calmly controlling the position for now.
A short uppercut from Killua.
Killua tries to land knees in the clinch but Queen avoids the damage to the body.
Queen content to slow the pace in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Queen softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Queen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Queen stuffs the takedown attempt from Killua. Killua gets slowly back to his feet.
An attempted straight right counter from Queen misses the target.
Oliver Queen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zoldyck Killua.
Killua shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Queen pinned against the cage. Queen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Killua tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
As Killua looks to move away, Queen throws a big counter combo but Killua just gets out of the way.
Queen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Killua backs up against the cage.
Queen drops Killua with a right and a left! Queen comes rushing in but Killua regains his composure and manages to keep Queen in guard.
Killua is rocked!
Killua has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Queen has passed into side control.
Killua is still in real trouble! Can Queen finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Queen has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Killua is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Queen yanks on the arm and Killua is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Queen.
