Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sangram Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punching Bag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 29 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sangram Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Punching Bag!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bag throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Singh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bag's guard.

Bag uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Bag tries for a takedown but Singh sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Singh tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bag manages to circle out of the way.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bag.
Singh keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sangram Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Punching Bag.

Singh looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Singh prevents Bag from improving his position.
Bag is trying to control but can't.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bag has hold of Singh's hands but Singh slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Bag wants to control but Singh is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bag is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Singh scores with a couple of nice shots.

Singh is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bag is just riding it out for now. Singh eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bag wants to control but Singh is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Singh lands a nice short elbow.
Singh drops an elbow to the side of Bag's head.
Bag is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Singh scores with a couple of nice shots.

Singh is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Singh looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bag with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Singh seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Singh landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.


Bag is rocked!
Singh is nestled in close to Bag, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Bag is still in real trouble! Can Singh finish him?
Singh lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Bag! More strikes land and this one is all over! Singh jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sangram Singh!
