Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Raban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Beijer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beijer is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by David hasselhoff - Looking for freedome. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 18 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Raban!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hans Beijer!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beijer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that James Raban will probably get the nod.

Raban lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beijer circles away quickly and effectively.
Raban fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beijer manages to avoid it.
Raban goes for a double leg but Beijer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Beijer continues to drive forward.

Beijer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Beijer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Raban shoots in looking for a takedown but Beijer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Raban's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Beijer looks to land a left hand but Raban moved out of range nicely.
James Raban is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Beijer tries to land a front kick but Raban steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Raban shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Beijer as he avoids it easily.

I would just about give that final round to Hans Beijer.
Well Beijer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Hans Beijer decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
