Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Terry Thompson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan fails with a takedown attempt.
Terry Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Thompson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Chan to the ground. Thompson is now in Chan's guard.
Chan has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Thompson has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Thompson is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Chan pulls guard successfully.
Chan really is a fat lump.
Chan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Thompson is controlling him.
Thompson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Chan scrambles and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chan misses with a takedown attempt - Thompson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Chan shoots in but Thompson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Chan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Thompson defends well and Chan ends up having to push Thompson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Thompson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Chan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thompson's waist but Thompson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chan off to one side.
Chan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thompson but Thompson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Thompson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Chan looking to score a takedown here. Thompson is defending well but Chan drives through and ends up in Thompson's guard.

Thompson keeping moving, preventing Chan from controlling successfully.
Chan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Chan throws a big right hand that misses.
Chan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Thompson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Chan has passed into side control.

Thompson tries to control but Chan manages to take his back.
Chan has managed to slip his arm under Thompson's chin. This could be all over... yep, Thompson is tapping out! Submission win for Chan.
