Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lazar Kozlov!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Davis.
Kozlov throws out a loose jab but Davis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Davis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kozlov.
Kozlov looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kozlov fails with a takedown attempt.
Kozlov just misses with a punch to the body.
Davis drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kozlov sprawls and moves away.
Davis scores with a hook to the body. Kozlov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Davis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kozlov's waist but Kozlov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davis off to one side.

Lazar Kozlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kozlov throws a right and a left that Davis avoids nicely.
Kozlov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Davis lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kozlov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davis manages to avoid it.
Kozlov just misses with a punch to the body.
A big right from Kozlov misses.
Davis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kozlov pinned against the cage. Kozlov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A little jabbing left from Kozlov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Davis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kozlov throws out the jab.
Davis was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Davis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Davis tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Kozlov gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Davis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kozlov defending well though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis throws a strike but Kozlov avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Davis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kozlov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Davis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Davis working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Kozlov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Kozlov is looking for a triangle but Davis pushes his legs off easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Davis would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Lazar Kozlov will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kozlov throws a combination that misses
and Davis counters with a one-two to the body.
Davis thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kozlov if he has to take too many more of those.

and Davis holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kozlov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Davis pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Kozlov is working for takedown but Davis is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kozlov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Jack Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lazar Kozlov.

Kozlov throws a hook to the side of Davis's head but Davis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kozlov is breathing heavily.
Davis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kozlov's waist but Kozlov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davis off to one side.
Davis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kozlov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Davis somewhat.
Kozlov misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kozlov moves away from the strike by Davis.
Kozlov shoots in but no luck this time.
Davis throws a quick counter head kick but Kozlov was just out of range.
Davis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kozlov as he avoids it easily.
Kozlov stuffs the takedown.
Horrible takedown attempt by Davis or perhaps it was just good defense by Kozlov, which made it look bad.
Kozlov swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Kozlov looks to score with a jab to the body but Davis is just out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kozlov.

Davis is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lazar Kozlov seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Davis bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Kozlov comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Davis falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Davis was out before he hit the floor!
