The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boarigh misses with an uppercut.

Boarigh tries to lock up and control but Browning gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Browning is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Boarigh has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Willy Browning will probably get the nod.

Boarigh shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Browning is trying to defend but Boarigh finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Boarigh looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Browning is pressing down on Boarigh's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Browning will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ali Boarigh has got the better of the ground game so far.
Boarigh's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Boarigh wants to pass the guard but Browning is keeping the position.
Browning wants to stand but Boarigh is controlling the position.
Boarigh tries to free his leg and advance position but Browning is retaining full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Boarigh slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Ali Boarigh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Browning or perhaps it was just good defense by Boarigh, which made it look bad.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Boarigh closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Browning quickly recovers to half guard.

Boarigh decides to stand and escape the position.

Boarigh is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Browning is in big trouble! Boarigh is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Browning. Poor guy.
