The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jackson moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromHenderson.
Henderson goes for a double leg but Jackson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jackson continues to drive forward.
Henderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Henderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jackson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Henderson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jackson defends well and Henderson ends up having to push Jackson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Sandy Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trent Henderson.
Henderson tries a head kick but it misses.
Henderson shoots in for a double leg but Jackson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jackson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Henderson sprawls and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Henderson did well to prevent Jackson getting side control.
Henderson wants to stand back up but Jackson manages to pass into side control.
Henderson is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Jackson is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Jackson working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Henderson looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Jackson! Submission of the night perhaps?
