Kingston throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Laine.

Kingston wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Laine has him pressed against the cage.

Laine pushes a forearm under Kingston's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kingston is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Pako Laine!
After winning the bout, Pako Laine thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
