Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Hare!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Solomon Lawal!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawal tries for a takedown but Hare circles away easily
and Hare counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hare stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hare wants it to stay on the feet.
Lawal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hare tries to avoid it but Lawal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hare to the ground. Hare escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Peter Hare has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Solomon Lawal.
Hare throws a head kick that Lawal semi-blocks.
Hare has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA LA Elite in the buildup to the fight.
Lawal avoids the head kick by Hare.
Lawal gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hare.
Lawal stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hare.

Lawal throws a right hand that Hare ducks under and follows up with a left that Hare also avoids with ease.

Hare looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hare throws a leg kick but Lawal sees it coming and moves out of range.
Lawal goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hare swings widly with a right hand
and Lawal counters with a left to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hare tries to bum rush Lawal with a series of wild strikes but Lawal uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lawal shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hare as he avoids it easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lawal keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hare's efforts to push away.

Hare breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hare misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hare tries a head kick but it misses.
Hare misses with a jab to the body
and Lawal counters with a one-two to the body.
Peter Hare is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hare throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hare takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Peter Hare has been cut.
Lawal shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hare pinned against the ropes. Hare gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hare with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Lawal tries to close the distance and clinch but Hare swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hare throws a head kick but Lawal moves out of range.
Hare tries a head kick but it misses.
Lawal shapes to counter with a head kick.
Lawal shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hare but Hare pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hare throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hare tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hare lands a big head kick that sends Lawal tumbling to the mat! Hare takes a step backwards and waves Lawal back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Lawal is rocked!
Hare turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lawal is still on wobbly legs! Can Hare finish him?
Hare lands a body shot.
Lawal seems to have recovered his senses.
Hare ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lawal moves away.
It seemed like Lawal was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A solid body kick from Hare.
Lawal looks winded!
Hare cracks Lawal with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

That's five minutes gone in the round.
Lawal shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hare pinned against the ropes. Hare gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A head kick misses from Hare.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lawal! But no joy.
Lawal moves out of range as Hare throws a body kick.
Nice body punch from Hare.
Hare tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lawal is looking for the big counter here.
BOOM! Hare lands a beautiful left hook that drops Lawal. Lawal tries to recover but Hare is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Lawal lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
