Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roman Ivamov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chad Davis is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis drives through and clinches with Ivamov against the cage.
Ivamov tries to break free but Davis pushes him back against the cage.

Davis gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Davis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Let's hope that Davis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davis trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Ivamov manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Davis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Davis manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Davis lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Davis manages to pull guard.
Davis is wriggling around but Ivamov manages to pass to half guard.
Davis is refusing to be controlled, as Ivamov sits in half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Davis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ivamov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ivamov's back!

Davis throws a series of strikes and Ivamov wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Davis jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ivamov is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ivamov and Davis has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Davis swings around for an armbar but Ivamov sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Davis's guard.
Davis has control of Ivamov's left arm, preventing Ivamov from doing any damage.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Davis closes the distance and pushes Ivamov back into the cage.

Davis wants the takedown. Ivamov is fighting it off but Davis persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ivamov's guard against the cage.

Ivamov has momentary wrist control but Davis slips an elbow through the middle.

Davis is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Oh Ivamov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Davis gets to his feet. Ivamov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Ivamov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Davis makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Davis stands up over Ivamov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Davis stands and steps away. Ivamov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Davis is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Ivamov is in big trouble! Davis is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Ivamov. Poor guy.
