The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunez on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Nejc Majcen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A low kick from Majcen is predictable there
and Nunez counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Majcen!
A lull in the action here as Nunez stalls from top position.
Majcen sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Nunez controlling the pace.
Nunez is working for a submission of some sort.
Nunez is taking a breather. Majcen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Majcen preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Nunez is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Nunez working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Majcen looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Nunez! Submission of the night perhaps?
