The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hayden enables Rinaldez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hayden manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rinaldez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hayden is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rinaldez, into his guard.

Rinaldez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hayden defends it easily.

Rinaldez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rinaldez controls Hayden momentarily but Hayden frees himself.
Hayden trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Hayden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rinaldez on the ground.

Rinaldez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hayden defends well.
Hayden postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hayden makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Rinaldez has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hayden doesn't defend quickly enough and Rinaldez has managed to lock this one up! Can Hayden escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rinaldez on a fantastic submission victory.
