The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds darts in looking for a takedown but Chen gets double underhooks and turns Reynolds into the cage.

Reynolds shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Reynolds lands a nice short elbow.

Reynolds is looking for a kimura here.

Reynolds wants to work for an arm triangle but Chen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Reynolds tries to stand and escape but Chen is controlling the position.

Chen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reynolds on the ground.

Reynolds is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Chen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Reynolds is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Reynolds moves into full mount! Chen won't be happy about that!

Chen is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Reynolds is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Chen can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Chen wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Reynolds controlling well, preventing Chen from escaping the position.

Reynolds is working for a rear naked choke. Chen is not defending it well and Reynolds has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Chen refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Chen's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
