The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duran clinches up with Vieira and pushes him back against the cage.
Duran lands a body punch in the clinch.
Vieira is looking to control Duran's arms but Duran gets an underhook and turns him. Now Vieira has his back to the cage.
Vieira takes a shot to the head.
Duran lands a nice uppercut.
Duran presses Vieira against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Vieira trying to control the position but instead, Duran has worked for underhooks and has pushed Vieira into the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duran is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Vieira escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Duran gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Vieira is trying to control the position from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Duran accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Duran is looking to work some ground and pound but Vieira has wrist control.
Vieira is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Vieira throwing shots but Duran is blocking nicely.

Duran is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Vieira has latched onto it... Big trouble! Vieira pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Duran is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Vieira!
