Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cron Spliffton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Clawnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clawnes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. My name is MUD kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Cron Spliffton is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cron Spliffton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thomas Clawnes!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spliffton moves into range and connects with a jab.
Spliffton clobbers Clawnes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Clawnes turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Clawnes throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Spliffton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Clawnes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Clawnes tries to clinch up but Spliffton circles away and keeps his distance.
Spliffton swats away the attempt to clinch by Clawnes.
Clawnes fails to land with a series of punches.
Clawnes throws a combination that misses
and Spliffton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Spliffton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Clawnes. Spliffton shrugs it off though.

It looks like Cron Spliffton has been cut.
Clawnes creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Spliffton misses with a hook to the ribs.
Spliffton avoids the elbow strike from Clawnes, against the cage.
Clawnes pushes off an throws an elbow but Spliffton leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Clawnes prevents a body shot from Spliffton.
Spliffton lands a hook that snaps the head of Clawnes backwards.
Clawnes misses with a punch on the inside.

I was talking to Spliffton's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Spliffton tries to throw a body punch but Clawnes avoids it by throwing Spliffton back against the cage.

It looks like Thomas Clawnes has been cut.
Clawnes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Spliffton swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Spliffton was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Spliffton counters with a low kick, right behind Clawnes 's knee.

Clawnes throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Clawnes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Clawnes lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Spliffton has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Spliffton and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Clawnes gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Spliffton just misses with a punch to the body.
The fighters circling - Spliffton throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Spliffton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Spliffton lets loose with a powerful body kick. Clawnes will feel that in the morning.

Spliffton throws a push kick but Clawnes slaps the foot to one side.

Spliffton throws a jab when Clawnes was well out of range.
Clawnes with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Spliffton to score with a decent uppercut.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spliffton lands a glancing blow to the side of Clawnes's head.
Spliffton catches Clawnes with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Clawnes's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Clawnes's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Spliffton connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Clawnes scrambles back to his feet.

Spliffton fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Clawnes on the side of the head.
Clawnes is still on wobbly legs! Can Spliffton finish him?
Clawnes throws a lazy body kick
and as Clawnes loses concentration momentarily, Spliffton counters with a picture perfect head kick! Clawnes goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Cron Spliffton!
Our winner, Cron Spliffton, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
