The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkele throws a leg kick but Maximus checks it.
Perkele scores with a crisp jab that stopped Maximus in his tracks.
It looks like DJ Maximus has been cut.
Perkele throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Maximus sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Maximus on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Perkele cracks the inside of Maximus's front leg.
Maximus connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Maximus gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Perkele counters with a leg kick.
Maximus blocks a jab.
Maximus lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Perkele tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Maximus is able to avoid easily.
Maximus throws a head kick that misses
and Perkele finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
DJ Maximus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Perkele throws a solid leg kick but Maximus takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Perkele.
Perkele throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Maximus looks winded!
Maximus throws a big shot that misses.
Perkele fakes the body blow, causing Maximus to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Maximus goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
