Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gigante Pesado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Vidal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Pesado looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Vidal gets tackled into the cage by Pesado. Pesado maintains the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Vidal .
Pesado jumps guard but Vidal stands there with Pesado around his waist. Pesado gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Vidal 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pesado tries to keep at a distance but Vidal has taken the fight into the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pesado is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vidal is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vidal wanted to stand there but Pesado had control of the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Pesado shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vidal as he avoids it easily.

Vidal tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Vidal has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Pesado looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Vidal tries to roll over but Pesado keeps him under control.
Pesado is keen to just control but Vidal is a slippery customer.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vidal can do anything to dispel that myth.

Pesado drops an elbow to the side of Vidal 's head.
Nice strikes from Pesado there.
Pesado throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Pesado wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vidal keeps working.
Vidal wants to control but Pesado is keeping busy.
Pesado thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vidal 's head.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Vidal is looking to control Pesado's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vidal avoid being mounted?

Pesado looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Vidal is concentrating on defense, preventing Pesado from advancing position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Vidal shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pesado as he jumps to the side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Vidal drives through and clinches with Pesado against the cage.
Pesado tries to score a body lock takedown but Vidal shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Pesado lands a hook that snaps the head of Vidal backwards.
Pesado is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Vidal lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Pesado feints and as Vidal raises his hands in defense, Pesado changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Vidal is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Pesado manages to get to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Vidal is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
