Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christian Mubango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dickie Crash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mubango comes to the cage accompanied by Jessie J - Bang Bang. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Christian Mubango!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dickie Crash!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crash tries to clinch but Mubango moves out of range.
Crash fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mubango manages to avoid it.
Mubango swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Mubango swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Crash misses with a straight right.
We've been hearing reports that Mubango has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Crash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Mubango tries to land a leg kick but Crash saw it coming and moves away.
It seemed like Crash was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Mubango scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Crash doesn't seem bothered though.
Mubango moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Crash enables Mubango to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Crash manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Crash had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mubango defends it easily.

Crash looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mubango has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Crash working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mubango doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mubango manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Crash takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Mubango looks up at the clock and then as Crash takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mubango smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Crash tries to bench press Mubango off him but Mubango keeps the position.
Mubango is putting a hurting on Crash here, landing some big shots from side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Crash is trying to control Mubango's posture but Mubango avoids it.

Crash manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mubango lands a nice short elbow.
Mubango works his way into full mount!
Mubango tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Mubango is landing with some decent strikes but Crash is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Crash is rocked!
Mubango cracks Crash with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Crash is still in real trouble! Can Mubango finish him?
Crash takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Mubango's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christian Mubango!
After the fight, Christian Mubango was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
