The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunnarsson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Gunnarsson slaps away a takedown attempt from Azhiev, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gunnarsson clobbers Azhiev with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Azhiev fails with the takedown.
Gunnarsson scores with a nice right hand.
Gunnarsson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Azhiev eats them both and turns towards Gunnarsson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Gunnarsson throws a series of punches but Azhiev moves out of range.
Gunnarsson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gunnarsson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gunnarsson .

Azhiev shoots in but no luck this time.
Morten Gunnarsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anzhor Azhiev.

Gunnarsson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Azhiev to the ground. Gunnarsson is now in Azhiev's guard.
Gunnarsson loads up on a big left hand. Azhiev felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Gunnarsson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Azhiev can't hide his disappointment, as Gunnarsson celebrates the victory.
