Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vanilla Godzilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vanilla Godzilla has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gustavo Nunes!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godzilla looks to land a combination but Nunes avoids it well.

Godzilla shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Godzilla tries to stand and escape but Nunes is controlling the position.

Godzilla decides to stand up.
Godzilla stuffs the takedown attempt from Nunes. Nunes gets slowly back to his feet.
Sloppy strikes from Godzilla. Those never looked like landing.

Godzilla fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nunes to the ground. Godzilla is now in Nunes's guard.

Nunes is looking for a triangle but Godzilla pushes his legs off easily.
Godzilla trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nunes's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Godzilla gets to his feet. Nunes looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Nunes has Godzilla up against the cage in a clinch.

Nunes has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Godzilla after a bit of a struggle.

Godzilla closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Godzilla decides to stand up, so the ref orders Nunes to his feet.
Godzilla fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A punch lands to the side of Nunes 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Nunes tries to keep at a distance but Godzilla has taken the fight into the clinch.

Godzilla tries a body shot but Nunes blocks it.

Godzilla manages to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Godzilla wants to stand but Nunes is controlling the position.
Nunes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Nunes advances position into side control!
Godzilla wants to get back to his feet.
Nunes works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Nunes is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Godzilla is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Nunes is trying to get an arm triangle but Godzilla is defending well.

Godzilla is trying to get back to his feet.
Nunes lands a decent elbow from side control.

Godzilla is rocked!
Godzilla wants to get back to his feet but Nunes drags him back down.
Godzilla is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at The Factory that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Nunes advances nicely into full mount.
Godzilla in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Oh Godzilla is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Godzilla is trying to stand.
Nunes with the ground and pound from mount.

Nunes is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Godzilla has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Godzilla wants to get back to his feet.

Nunes swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Godzilla is now in Nunes's guard. A big mistake from Nunes there, giving up the dominant position!
Godzilla tries to stand but Nunes is controlling from the bottom.
Godzilla seems to have got his legs back now.
Nunes is trying to control the position but Godzilla postures up.
Godzilla is looking to work some ground and pound but Nunes has wrist control.

Godzilla stands and steps away. Nunes gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Vanilla Godzilla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Godzilla gets a clinch.
Godzilla presses Nunes against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vanilla Godzilla dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nunes dives in and grabs Godzilla's left leg, looking for a takedown. Godzilla pushes down on Nunes's head and hops out.

Godzilla closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Godzilla with the ground and pound but Nunes uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Vanilla Godzilla overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Godzilla with a flurry of punches that miss.
Godzilla content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Godzilla stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Godzilla is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nunes can do to turn this around?
Godzilla tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nunes misses with a takedown attempt - Godzilla sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nunes throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Godzilla tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nunes is in Godzilla's guard.
Nunes lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Nunes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Godzilla closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Nunes quickly recovers to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Godzilla is looking to take a break and control but Nunes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Godzilla wants to stand up but Nunes manages to regain full guard.

Nunes is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Godzilla has his hands clasped together but Nunes extends and breaks Godzilla's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Nunes.
