Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Conner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Obi Canuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conner comes to the cage accompanied by The Man Who Sold The World. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wayne Conner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Obi Canuel!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conner punishes Canuel's body with a nice straight punch.
A shot to the liver by Conner. Beautiful body shot.
Conner tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A punch combination from Conner misses.
Canuel throws out a counter right but Conner avoids it with no problem.
Canuel closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Conner avoids the head kick by Canuel.
Canuel lands with a right hand.
Conner throws a head kick that misses.
Canuel lands with a shot to the body.
Canuel throws a lazy right hand but Conner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Conner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Conner scores with a hook to the body. Canuel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Conner throws a right hand that misses
and Canuel counters with a stiff right hand.
Conner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Canuel throws a poor cross that misses
and Conner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Canuel throws a push kick but Conner slaps the foot to one side.
Canuel does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Conner moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Obi Canuel has been cut.
Conner with a nice cross.
Wayne Conner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conner throws a body shot but no joy.
Canuel throws a leg kick but Conner checks it.
Conner lands with a nice combination. Canuel backs away looking to recover.
Canuel connects with an inside leg kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Conner.
A head kick misses from Canuel.
Canuel throws out a loose jab but Conner uses good head movement to avoid it.
Canuel has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Conner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Conner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Conner missing with a left hand there. Canuel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Conner lands the left hand.
Canuel scores with a sloppy right hand. Conner should have avoided that one.
A thudding body kick lands there by Conner!
Conner tests Canuel's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Canuel uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Conner misses with a hook.
Conner looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Conner walks into a stiff left hand from Canuel.
Conner jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Conner lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Canuel gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Conner.
Canuel looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Conner misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Canuel counters with a slapping leg kick.
Conner moves out of range of the body kick from Canuel.
Conner swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Conner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Canuel.
Conner misses the shot to the body.
Conner throws a jab when Canuel was well out of range.
Conner lands with a good body shot.
Canuel misses with a hook
and Canuel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fighters circling - Conner throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Canuel misses with a head kick.

Conner lands a left and a right that send Canuel crashing to the mat, dazed. Conner thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Canuel is rocked!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Conner fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Canuel out cold! Brutal finish!
