The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baahskit closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Baahskit is trying to work for a kimura but Bonner is defending well.
Baahskit wants to stand up but Bonner manages to regain full guard.
Baahskit trying to control but Bonner is working from the bottom.
Baahskit passes easily into side control. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bonner is trying to control Baahskit's posture but Baahskit avoids it.

Baahskit wants to stand but Bonner is controlling his arm.

Baahskit is trying to ground and pound but Bonner uses the momentary lack of control by Baahskit to regain half guard.
Well, if Baahskit is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bonner is looking for a sweep. Baahskit is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Baahskit tries to stand and escape but Bonner is controlling the position.
Baahskit wants to take a breather but Bonner is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Baahskit shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Baahskit was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Baahskit is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bonner's shoulder. That is not cool.

Baahskit swings around for an armbar but Bonner sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Baahskit's guard.
Bonner working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Baahskit's head.

Bonner drops back looking for a leg! Baahskit is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baahskit manages to kick Bonner off! Bonner jumps back into Baahskit's guard.

Bonner decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Baahskit fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bonner to the ground. Baahskit is now in Bonner's guard.

Baahskit tries to free his leg and advance position but Bonner is retaining full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Baahskit working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Baahskit looking to sit in guard and control but Bonner gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Baahskit throws a series of punches but Bonner avoids them all with ease.
Baahskit is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bonner was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Baahskit tries to clinch but Bonner moves out of range.
Bonner blocks a head kick by Baahskit.
As Baahskit tries to get set, Bonner tries to push him back and clinch up but Baahskit manages to avoid the attempt.

Bonner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Baahskit, pushing him back against the cage.
Baahskit is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bonner is defending well for now.

Baahskit is posturing up here but Bonner has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Baahskit tries to roll out but it's too tight and Baahskit has to tap! Slick submission there by Bonner!
