Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Twiggy BigBranch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konrad Husky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Twiggy BigBranch has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Husky misses with a wild combination.

Husky lands a nice hook to BigBranch's body. BigBranch takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Donk. BigBranch catches Husky right on the button with a cross.
Husky shoots in but no luck this time.
Husky throws a head kick but BigBranch moves out of range.
Husky's coach down at LOD: Purpose Training Center™ was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Husky's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
BigBranch scores with a sloppy right hand. Husky should have avoided that one.
Husky tries to close the distance and clinch up but BigBranch swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Husky throws a hook to the side of BigBranch's head but BigBranch sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
BigBranch shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Husky pinned against the cage. Husky gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Husky motions for BigBranch to come forward. Husky throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Husky chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before BigBranch can pounce on him.
Husky moves in looking to clinch but BigBranch pushes him off.
Husky tries to clinch up but BigBranch circles away and keeps his distance.
BigBranch tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Husky manages to circle out of the way.
BigBranch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Husky manages to avoid it.

BigBranch shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

BigBranch decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Husky has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. BigBranch is working away from the top position though.

Husky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. BigBranch gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A close round but Konrad Husky will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

BigBranch is looking to chop away at Husky's legs.
Husky throws a wild body kick that BigBranch sees coming a mile off.

Husky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

BigBranch stuns Husky with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
BigBranch throws out a loose jab but Husky uses good head movement to avoid it.
And Husky tries to counter it with a takedown but BigBranch pushes his down on his head and steps out.

BigBranch scores with a sloppy right hand. Husky should have avoided that one.
It looks like BigBranch has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Husky leaves BigBranch with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

BigBranch closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Husky is not content to let BigBranch control the position.
BigBranch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Husky with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. BigBranch lands a nice short elbow.
Twiggy BigBranch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Husky has his foot on BigBranch's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. BigBranch works his way back into a safe position though.

BigBranch is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Husky is just riding it out for now. BigBranch eventually gives up the hold.

In his post fight interview, Twiggy BigBranch started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
