The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall connects with a good right hand that stumbles Birmiski. Birmiski circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hall throws a lazy right hand but Birmiski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hall throws a predictable looking body shot
and Birmiski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Birmiski has managed to clinch.
Birmiski lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hall takes an elbow to the temple.
Birmiski digs a right hand into Hall's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hall's gas tank.
Hall is trying to force a seperation but Birmiski has the dominant position.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hall.

Birmiski lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Birmiski sizes up Hall with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Birmiski pushes Hall up against the cage in a clinch.
Birmiski struggles to land a body shot inside as Hall controls his hands.
Hall tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hall is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Hall misses with the head strike.

Birmiski has hold of one of Hall's legs. Hall is fighting the takedown attempt but Birmiski gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Birmiski is working Hall over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hall is rocked!
Birmiski gets to his feet and stands over Hall, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Hall felt that one! Birmiski unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Hall from any more punishment!
