Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tom Donowitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Longson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brandon Longson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donowitz scores with a jab to the head.
Longson tries to clinch but Donowitz moves away
and Donowitz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Longson shoots for a takedown but Donowitz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Donowitz drops Longson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Longson looks back up at him and smiles so Donowitz waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Brandon Longson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Longson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Longson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Donowitz to score with a decent uppercut.

Longson is rocked!
Longson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Donowitz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Donowitz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Longson at a distance.
Longson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Donowitz counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Longson off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Donowitz follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Longson was out before he hit the floor.
