Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

David clinches up against the cage.
Dalmazo lands a right hand.
Dalmazo lands on the inside with an uppercut.
We've been informed that Dalmazo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Dalmazo is working David over against the cage.
Dalmazo lands with a right to the head.
David swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Dalmazo lands a left hand that snaps the head of David backwards.

David manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

David controls Dalmazo momentarily but Dalmazo frees himself.

Dalmazo wants to get up but he can't break David's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Dalmazo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with David. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
David controls Dalmazo momentarily but Dalmazo frees himself.
David seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Dalmazo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

David has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dalmazo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
David is controlling Dalmazo's posture.

Dalmazo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

David had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dalmazo defends it easily.
Dalmazo tries to free his leg and advance position but David is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dalmazo is fighting to break David's control of his arms but David is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
David lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Dalmazo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dalmazo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dalmazo is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Samuel David will probably get the nod.

David swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dalmazo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Dalmazo closes the distance and clinches.
David is trying to push Dalmazo away but Dalmazo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
David throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dalmazo blocks it with crossed arms.
Dalmazo lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of David backwards.
Dalmazo pushes David back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
David can't break the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Dalmazo lands with a short shot to the head.

David is rocked!
Dalmazo manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Oh David is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dalmazo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The fighters are playing wrist control here with David pressed against the cage. Dalmazo frees himself up and cracks David with an uppercut straight from the bowels of hell! David crumples to the floor, out cold! Dalmazo jumps on to the cage and takes in the roar of the crowd! That was nasty!
