Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cpt Hze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hze changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Putin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Putin is looking for a sweep.
Putin wants to control but Hze postures up.
Putin has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Putin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hze wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Hze swings around for an armbar but Putin sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hze's guard.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Putin.

And Putin tries to counter it with a takedown but Hze pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Hze closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Putin to the mat! Putin manages to get full guard.

Putin manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Hze gets a clinch.

Putin is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hze can't fight it off and eventually Putin manages to take the fight to the floor. Hze looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Hze is breathing heavily.

Putin throwing shots but Hze is blocking nicely.
Hze is not content to let Putin control the position.
Putin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Putin working over Hze with some ground and pound. Hze looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
