The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wick lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Wick misses with a few strikes there.

Wick has closed the distance and engaged Kirks in a clinch.
Wick has Kirks pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kirks manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kirks wants to stand and escape but instead Wick has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Wick is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

We've been hearing good reports from Wick's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
