Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ziba Halo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lewis McMurray!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McMurray closes the distance and clinches.
Halo misses with the head strike.
Halo is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Halo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Halo misses with a low kick.
Halo throws a head kick but McMurray moves out of range.

McMurray drives through and clinches with Halo against the cage.

Halo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

McMurray gets a double leg takedown into Halo's guard.
McMurray prevents Halo from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McMurray missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
McMurray trying to control but Halo is working from the bottom.
Halo has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
McMurray throwing strikes from guard but Halo blocks nicely.
McMurray trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Halo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from McMurray.
McMurray with a flurry of punches that miss.
Halo is looking to stand up but McMurray isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Ziba Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice defenses there by McMurray.
Halo wants to slow McMurray down by chopping away at his legs.
Halo throws a push kick but McMurray slaps the foot to one side.
Ziba Halo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A slapping leg kick lands for Halo.
Some bone on bone action there as McMurray checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
McMurray wants to counter the offense by Halo and move into the clinch position.
Halo walks into a jab.
Halo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
McMurray tries for a takedown but Halo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McMurray misses with a head kick.
McMurray fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Halo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McMurray avoids a kick to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McMurray finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Halo throws a body kick that misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Halo.
Halo misses with a kick to the body.
McMurray drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Halo defends it well.
Halo throws a leg kick that is checked
and McMurray cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McMurray tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Halo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
McMurray takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Halo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Lewis McMurray has been cut.
McMurray misses with a wild body shot.
McMurray gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Halo gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
