The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson misses with a body kick.
Blacker stuffs the takedown attempt from Simpson. Simpson gets slowly back to his feet.

Blacker closes the distance and pushes Simpson back into the cage.
Simpson tries to stall but Blacker uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Blacker.
Simpson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Blacker smiles and moves away.
Simpson fails in his attempt to clinch.

Blacker moves into range and clinches up with Simpson.
Blacker lands a nice shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Simpson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Blacker is defending well.
Blacker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tyrone Blacker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scotty Simpson.
Simpson tries to pull guard but Blacker won't allow it.

Blacker tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Simpson avoids it.
Simpson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Blacker to keep the fight standing.
Simpson stalling in the clinch but Blacker improves position.

Blacker creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Simpson with a big uppercut! Simpson tries to clinch up but Blacker pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Simpson to the mat! Simpson covers up and Blacker unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Tyrone Blacker decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
