The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gurgaram looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Sizov!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sizov parries the strikes from Gurgaram easily there. Gurgaram is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sizov to escape.
Sizov is looking for a sweep.
Gurgaram working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Gurgaram tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gurgaram has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Sizov gets back to half guard.
Gurgaram looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Gurgaram is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sizov has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gurgaram is taking a breather. Sizov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Sizov is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Gurgaram is tapping! Great win for Sizov!
