Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Osgar Ragnvaldr!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luca misses with a series of wild punches.
Ragnvaldr feints the counter takedown.
Luca misses with a head kick.
Luca lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Luca.

It looks like Osgar Ragnvaldr has been cut.
Luca takes a jab right on the kisser.

Luca drives through and clinches with Ragnvaldr against the cage.
Luca scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Ragnvaldr manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ragnvaldr lands a right hand.

Luca creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ragnvaldr's defenses.

and Ragnvaldr counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Luca has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Ragnvaldr has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Ragnvaldr has Luca pressed against the cage, preventing Luca from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ragnvaldr tries to work over Luca's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ragnvaldr tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Ragnvaldr has Luca pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ragnvaldr pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Luca tumbling to the mat - Ragnvaldr dives into Luca's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ragnvaldr postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Ragnvaldr wants to control from the top but Luca keeps moving.

It looks like Ragnvaldr might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Luca has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ragnvaldr off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Luca takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ragnvaldr throws a jab when Luca was well out of range.
Luca throws a body kick that misses.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ragnvaldr.
Luca scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Luca wants to clinch.

Ragnvaldr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Luca has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Luca misses with a hook. Ragnvaldr ducked under it nicely.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Luca checks a leg kick.
Luca fires out a quick counter leg kick but Ragnvaldr just manages to avoid it.
Ragnvaldr throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Luca takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ragnvaldr throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Luca throws a series of punches but Ragnvaldr avoids them all with ease.
Ragnvaldr scores with a hook to the body. Luca takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Good leg kick by Ragnvaldr there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ragnvaldr lands with a nice body punch.
Luca misses with a double jab.
Luca tries to clinch but Ragnvaldr moves out of range.
Luca tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ragnvaldr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A jab from Luca does it's job there.
Luca moves out of range of the body kick from Ragnvaldr.
Ragnvaldr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Luca stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ragnvaldr misses with a hook
and Luca counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ragnvaldr, as that shot connected.
Johnny Luca is winning the standup battle so far.
Ragnvaldr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Luca defends it nicely.
Luca misses with a right hand

and Ragnvaldr counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Luca wants to stand and escape but Ragnvaldr is having none of it.
Ragnvaldr stands and throws Luca's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Ragnvaldr wants to control but Luca is keeping him busy.

Luca wants to get back to his feet but Ragnvaldr drags him back down.
Ragnvaldr is looking to take a break and control but Luca is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Luca is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ragnvaldr asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Osgar Ragnvaldr has got the better of the ground game so far.

Ragnvaldr wants to control for a moment but Luca uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Luca wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Ragnvaldr uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Luca.
Ragnvaldr walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Luca checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Ragnvaldr lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Ragnvaldr throws a push kick but Luca slaps the foot to one side.
Luca tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ragnvaldr was well out of range. Poor timing from Luca.
Luca scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ragnvaldr doesn't seem bothered though.
Luca walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Luca pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ragnvaldr is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Luca tries to close the distance and clinch but Ragnvaldr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ragnvaldr bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Osgar Ragnvaldr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The fighters circle momentarily. Ragnvaldr darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Good exchange - Ragnvaldr coming out on top.

Luca tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ragnvaldr paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Luca has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Ragnvaldr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Luca just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ragnvaldr's brow.

Ragnvaldr connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ragnvaldr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Luca as he jumps to the side.
Luca appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Luca, right into the meat.

Ragnvaldr ducks under a wild hook from Luca.
Ragnvaldr connects with a good right hand that stumbles Luca. Luca circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Luca misses with a wild combination.
Luca's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ragnvaldr connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Luca scrambles back to his feet.

Ragnvaldr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ragnvaldr will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Luca takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Luca closes the distance but Ragnvaldr moves to the side

and Ragnvaldr counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ragnvaldr wants to work for an arm triangle but Luca is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ragnvaldr seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Luca wants to get back to his feet.
