Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sor Jaime Lannister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Santiago Diablo!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lannister has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Diablo finds it's way round the side to connect with Lannister's head.
Lannister displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Diablo throws out the jab.
Diablo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lannister.
Lannister looks to land a combination. Diablo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Lannister misses with a double jab
and Diablo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lannister's guard.

It looks like Diablo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Diablo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lannister is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lannister can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Diablo controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Diablo has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Diablo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lannister sprawls well initially but Diablo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Diablo in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lannister tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Diablo!
