Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rip Snorten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexey Alexandrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snorten comes to the cage accompanied by Learn to fly. Alexey Alexandrov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexandrov throws a jab when Snorten was well out of range.

Snorten feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Alexandrov felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Alexandrov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Snorten sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Alexandrov somewhat.

Alexandrov misses with a takedown attempt - Snorten sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alexandrov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Snorten tries to avoid it but Alexandrov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Snorten to the ground. Snorten escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rip Snorten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexey Alexandrov.

Alexandrov feints a jab promting Snorten to slip. Alexandrov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Snorten slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Rip Snorten has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Snorten around the waist but Snorten pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Snorten is the winner by TKO! Snorten jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

A very excited looking Rip Snorten made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
