Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeramy Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gando Spong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spong is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hakuana Matata Gang - hoofd heet. Gando Spong will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Spong drives through and clinches with Charles against the cage.
Charles could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Charles seems to be working for a kimura but Spong defends the submission attempt.

Spong goes for a double leg but Charles avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Charles continues to drive forward.

Spong shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Charles defends it nicely.

Spong darts in and clinches Charles up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!



Spong has closed the distance and engaged Charles in a clinch.
Charles tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Charles manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Charles has his feet on Spong's thighs here. He's pushed Spong off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Spong screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
