The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Thong Song has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Thong Song jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Spencer is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Spencer and Thong Song has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Thong Song is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Spencer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
