The crowd seem to be enjoying Tamland's choice of entrance music: Afternoon Delight. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tunamoto wants to clinch up but Tamland keeps it at a distance.
Tamland tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tunamoto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A head kick from Tamland lands but Tunamoto takes it in his stride.
Tunamoto throws a leg kick but Tamland moved away.
Tunamoto has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tamland throws a front kick aimed at Tunamoto's knee but Tunamoto avoids it well.
Tunamoto appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
The fighters circling - Tunamoto throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tunamoto avoids the body shot from Tamland.
Tunamoto loads up on a big right hand but Tamland slips the punch.
Brick Tamland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tamland throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tunamoto throws a lazy right hand but Tamland sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tamland throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tunamoto has taken the fight to the clinch.
