The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Spencer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Spencer really is a fat lump.
Spencer is trying to improve his position.
Jones blocks the strikes from Spencer.
Jones wants to control but Spencer is keeping him busy.
Jones is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Spencer is looking to regain half guard here but Jones keeps moving and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Spencer keeps working.
Spencer is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Jones trying to control the action but Spencer is working from the bottom.
Spencer is looking for a sweep.
Spencer throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jones wants to control but Spencer is keeping him busy.
Jones has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Spencer is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Jones yanks on the arm and Spencer is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Jones.
