Kulina comes to the cage accompanied by 2 Pac - California Love. Alvey Kulina has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flare tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kulina was well out of range. Poor timing from Flare.
Flare lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Flare.
Flare misses with a left hand
and Kulina counters with a straight right hand.
Kulina avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Flare with a poor takedown
and Kulina counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Flare throws a series of punches but Kulina moves out of range.
Flare wants to clinch up but Kulina keeps it at a distance.

Flare has his takedown stuffed
and Kulina counters with a straight right hand.
Kulina jabs Flare right on the nose. Flare blinks but takes it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Flare scores with a hook.
Decent striking displayed by Kulina there.
Flare changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Flare misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jab, jab by Kulina - just one landing.
Flare connects with a body shot that sends Kulina's belly button to the back.

Kulina throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Flare stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Flare tries to clinch up
and Kulina counters with a series of strikes. Flare will be more careful next time no doubt.
Flario Flare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flare lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Nice shot lands for Kulina.
Kulina lunges at Flare with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Flare's hand.
Flare misses with a takedown attempt
and Kulina cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Alvey Kulina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Flario Flare.

Flare with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kulina to score with a decent uppercut.

Flare swings for the body but Kulina moves out of range.

and Kulina counters with a nice uppercut.
Kulina is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Flare takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kulina is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Kulina looks to land a combination but Flare avoids it well.
Flare throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kulina sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Flare is rocked!
Flare gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Flare tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Kulina is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Flare buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Flare!! Flare is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Kulina throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
