Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Bozzi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buck Futter!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bozzi scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


It looks like Buck Futter has been cut.
Bozzi works the jab nicely.
Futter has his takedown stuffed
and Futter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Futter shoots in for a takedown but Bozzi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bozzi leaves Futter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bozzi throws a quick counter kick to the body but Futter avoids it.
Jason Bozzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buck Futter.
Futter has his takedown stuffed
and Bozzi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A jab lands there for Bozzi.
Bozzi stuffs the takedown attempt from Futter. Futter gets slowly back to his feet.
It looked like Bozzi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Futter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bozzi as he jumps to the side.
Buck Futter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Futter doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bozzi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've been hearing reports that Bozzi has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Bozzi is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Futter fails with a takedown attempt.

Futter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bozzi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bozzi scores with a push kick.
Futter shoots in looking for a takedown. Bozzi tries to sprawl out of it but Futter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bozzi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bozzi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Futters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Futter tries for a takedown but Bozzi circles away easily
and Bozzi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Futter tries to move into range but Bozzi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Futter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bozzi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bozzi wants it to stay on the feet.

An inside leg kick lands from Bozzi.
Futter has his takedown stuffed
and Bozzi counters with a nice leg kick.
Futter misses with a right hand
enabling Bozzi to counter with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big left from Futter misses.
Futter clobbers Bozzi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Futter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bozzi defends well and Futter ends up having to push Bozzi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Futter misses with a takedown attempt - Bozzi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Futter looks winded!
Futter's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bozzi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Futter scrambles back to his feet.
Futter shoots in for a double leg but Bozzi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Bozzi is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Futter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Futter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Futter is rocked!
Bozzi drops Futter with a big left hand! Futter is injured, injured bad! Bozzi jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
