Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kajtek Leniec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Voodoo Child by Jimi Hendrix. Kajtek Leniec will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Curtis Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kajtek Leniec!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Leniec avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Johnson.
Johnson stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Leniec knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Leniec on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Johnson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Johnson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Johnson passes to full mount!

Johnson working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Leniec turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Johnson off and cradles Leniec's limp body as Johnson celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Curtis Johnson!
A very excited looking Curtis Johnson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
