Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zui Quan Tso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilmari Kuusi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tso turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tso has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rabid Dog in the buildup to the fight.

Tso forces Kuusi back against the cage and clinches.
Kuusi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tso smiles and moves away.
Kuusi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tso swivels and escapes.
Kuusi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tso's waist but Tso gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kuusi off to one side.
Zui Quan Tso has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ilmari Kuusi.
Kuusi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tso is fending him off so far but Kuusi persists. Nope, Tso circles away and we're back to standing.
Kuusi shoots in for a double leg but Tso sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tso ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kuusi is defended easily by Tso.
Kuusi takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuusi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kuusi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tso pinned against the cage. Tso gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kuusi shoots in for a takedown but Tso shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kuusi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tso defends well and Kuusi ends up having to push Tso into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Tso scores with a three punch combo!

Kuusi feints and as Tso raises his hands in defense, Kuusi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tso has momentary wrist control but Kuusi slips an elbow through the middle.
Tso keeping moving, preventing Kuusi from controlling successfully.
Tso tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kuusi postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Kuusi advances position into side control!

Tso on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kuusi creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Kuusi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tso, who protects the arm well.
Tso tries to bench press Kuusi off him but Kuusi keeps the position.

Tso knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kuusi on the ground.

You can see the frustration on Tso's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Tso has left one of his arms exposed and Kuusi doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Tso screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
