Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kane Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Thunda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by House Of Flying Daggers. Miller has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thunda cracks Miller with a big right hand and Miller goes down!

It looks like Kane Miller has been cut.
Miller looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Thunda controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Oh Miller is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thunda's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Let's hope that Thunda has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Thunda.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yet more stalling tactics from Thunda.
Miller seems to have got his legs back now.
My spies in The Beast inform me that Thunda has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
